Deborah Sutton is a Principal Investigator of the project ‘Digital Innovation in Water Scarcity in Coimbatore, India’. She is a Senior Lecturer in Modern South Asian History. Her research interests lie within the cultural and political history of modern South Asia.

Shanmugapriya is a Research Associate on the project Digital Innovation in Water Scarcity in Coimbatore, India’. Her research and teaching interests include an interdisciplinary focus in the areas of digital humanities, digital environmental humanities and digital literature. She is particularly interested in building and applying digital tools and technologies for humanities research.
